Iota Interactive offers home setup and support at an hourly rate. We will help you set up new equipment, diagnose and fix internet connectivity, wireless connections and passwords, router trouble, and help you understand how to print, scan or send emails and faxes.
Equipment
We repair and replace parts for desktop computers, laptop computers, and some mobile devices. Examples include CD/DVD drives, LCD screens, wiring, hard drives, memory, laptop keyboards, video cards, and so on. We set up and support Cisco/Linksys, D-Link, Netgear, and other brands of routers. We set up HP, Lexmark, Epson, Brother, Canon, Xerox printers and scanners. And we offer digital camera and memory card reader support too!
Home Entertainment
What if you could have all the capabilities of your computer in your home theater? Many game systems stream internet media, but don't offer all the capabilities that a computer offers. We can hook computers, laptops and some netbooks directly to your home theater to stream online movies, play music through the stereo, or simply write documents from the comfort of your living room couch.
Network Setup
If you have a home office, we can set it up so you can easily share files between two computers without USB memory cards or using up CDs and DVDs. To protect your files, we can recommend and set up backup software to copy your files to a secure off-site location.
We set up touchpads and mobile phones and sync them with online and corporate email, addresses and calendars.
Training
Want to operate your computer more effectively and learn to navigate the vast expanse of the internet? We'll teach you web browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari, provide email and attachment assistance, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint help, picure and video organizing and manipulating, instructions for burning CDs or DVDs and handling other software and plenty of other tools and tricks that you will find quite useful for everyday computing.
We also train you to avoid spyware, viruses and identity theft and recognize possible attempts to compromise your personal and financial information.
Disposal
